Schedule

Our 2's classes meet twice a week, either Tuesday & Thursday or Wednesday & Friday. This is a typical daily schedule.

9:30-10:10 Arrival and free play time. Activities will be available such as paints, puzzles, books, and manipulative activities.

10:10-10:15 Clean up.

10:15-10:30 Music.

10:30-10:40 Bathroom and snack time.

10:40-10:50 Surprise bag.

10:50-11:00 Story time or craft time.

11:00-11:30 Outdoor play.

11:30 Dismissal.

11:30-12:00 Lunch bunch (optional).

Two year old class curriculum

The 2 year old program is designed to delight and guide the child in a way that develops social and perceptual skills. It is structured to provide a setting in which the child can participate in simple activities and develop a sense of fun through shared experiences.

The program is flexible, warm, and nurturing, ever mindful of the changing needs of the children. Activities focus on body expression and control, social awareness, cognitive activities, language development, and emotional development.

The following is a guide of proposed topics by month. Topics may change depending on the needs of the class.

September: get aquainted, house and family.

October: animals, farm, pets, zoo, circus.

November: food and nutrition, tableware, fruits and vegetables, bread, dairy, Thanksgiving.

December: holidays, giving and sharing, holiday sounds, Hanukkah, Christmas.

January: transportation, cars, busses, trains, trucks, boats, planes, winter.

February: shapes, Valentine's Day, instruments, parades.

March: weather, nursery rhymes.

April: spring, spring holidays, planting flowers, feelings.

May: colors, alphabet, senses, summer.

Fees

For the 2010-11 school year, tuition can be paid annually in June ($2,200). For your convenience, we accept tuition payments in yearly (due 6/20), twice yearly (due 6/20 & 11/20), quarterly amounts (due 6/20, 9/20, 11/20 & 2/20) and monthly by pre-paying the following month by the 10th of the previous month. There are savings based upon plan with fewer payments. If payment plans are switched, the balance due will be prorated. A $100, non-refundable fee is due with each application. A non-refundable deposit of $250 is due for all returning students on May 1. For new families, the $250 is due with your aggrement.
